Mark H. Hutchings, Esq. grew up in the southern Nevada area. He went to Clark High School in Las Vegas and received both his undergraduate degree and his law degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Mr. Hutchings is the proud father of four beautiful children. His legal practice is grounded in the representation of small and mid-sized businesses and licensed professionals.
Mr. Hutchings was accepted to the prestigious Boyd School of Law on a scholarship. While in law-school, Mr. Hutchings received the highest grade in Conflict of Laws, worked as a Research Assistant for the law library, completed an Externship with the Honorable Abbi Silver, placed in the Annual Saltman Center Client-Counseling Competition, received the Outstanding Student award for his role in serving the Small Claims Community Service Project, and served as the Notes Editor on the Gaming Law Journal. Mr. Hutchings also spent fifteen months working as a law clerk for a local law firm while he completed his law degree.
After law-school, Mr. Hutchings began his career as an attorney providing representation on a variety of matters. Mr. Hutchings has represented some of the largest corporations, insurance companies, banks, and religious institutions on the planet. Mr. Hutchings eventually focused his practice on legal representation of small and mid-sized business owners and licensed professionals. He provides transactional services as well as representation in agency and court proceedings. Mr. Hutchings has litigated hundreds of matters to resolution, whether through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, trial, or appeal. Mr. Hutchings is skilled and equipped to handle matters in both federal and state court, and has experience with various administrative agencies, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Nevada Attorney General’s Office, the Nevada Commission on Ethics, the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners, the Nevada State Board of Osteopathic Medicine, and the Nevada State Board of Pharmacy.
Mr. Hutchings considers it an honor to offer his legal services to business owners and licensed professionals. In his free time, he enjoys travel, music, exercise, and spending time with his wife and children.
Mr. Hendrickson began his professional career as an accountant and auditor serving SEC registrants. His primary responsibilities were conducting audits of public companies, drafting annual and quarterly reports, and assisting clients crafting internal controls pursuant to compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Mr. Hendrickson left accounting to attend the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Hendrickson met Mr. Hutchings in his first semester of law school, and they became friends and study partners.
Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Hendrickson worked for the Honorable Jon Norheim as a law clerk in Guardianship Court. Upon passing the Nevada Bar Exam and receiving his law license, Mr. Hendrickson worked for various local law firms, representing clients in a vast array of practice areas, including criminal defense, family law, estate planning, medical malpractice, construction defect litigation, civil litigation, personal injury defense, and NRS 116 HOA litigation.
Mr. Hendrickson has spent the last four years doing civil litigation work, representing business owners in disputes with other businesses and consumers. Additionally, he has extensive experience in all phases of litigation, including appeals to the Nevada Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
When Mr. Hendrickson is not representing clients, he enjoys exercising, especially on the indoor rowing machine, playing with son, practicing martial arts, and traveling.
Ashley Hutchings attends the University of Arizona where she is currently working toward her degree completion. She has over five years of experience as a legal assistant, and currently assists in handling administrative tasks for Hutchings Law Group. Ashley strives for precision and attention to detail in all her work.
Prior to working in the legal field, Ashley worked with a nonprofit organization that provided substance abuse education to youth in the Las Vegas community. Here, she used her skills to write grants and to give over 100 live presentations to middle and high school students throughout Clark County.
Currently, Ashley juggles a full schedule of providing top-quality service to Hutchings Law Group, completing her degree, and being a mom to her two sweet kids at home. If she finds a little spare time, she enjoys working out on her Peloton, baking, and spending time with her husband and family.
Helen Buenrostro is a paralegal with Hutchings Law Group and is a Las Vegas native. Helen graduated from Las Vegas College in 2009 with a degree in paralegal studies. She has over a decade of experience working as a paralegal in the legal profession handling personal injury and commercial litigation matters. Helen’s great personality and positive attitude translate into everything she does. She provides excellent paralegal services for litigation and trial and also handles many pre-litigation matters for the firm. Helen is dedicated to excellence and works tirelessly to achieve optimal results in whatever she does. Helen is the proud mother of 3 wonderful children and in her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
